| Description: |
Spherical cluster of white Barite on a narrow strip of Dolstone matrix. Hemispherical masses of Barite like this were common enough from Elmwood, but I've never before seen such a complete sphere. The Barite sphere is 9cm in size and is intergrown with small Sphalerite and yellow Calcite crystals. Unusual and undamaged with Sphalerite crystals attached to the matrix. Ex. Bob Reynolds collection #0278. |
