Large 3cm black Spinel crystal on matrix with other smaller Spinel crystals. This is an old specimen from a collection from the 1960s and 70s. It occurs with Chlorite and appears to have been partially etched from carbonate rock. It rates as a significant California Spinel. Undamaged. |
