Silica rich matrix hosting crystals of bright yellow Karpatite. The Karpatite is present with drusy Quartz crystals and is exposed in various areas, the crystals in the center forming a somewhat 'starburst' formation. Karpatite is an uncommon organic mineral, which is also fluorescent. Small red flecks of Cinnabar are also present. What an interesting specimen - rare, organic, colorful! |
